25 contestants qualify for semi-final of DESOPADEC sponsored DBS song of the year season 2

The chase for the one million naira grand prize for the Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, song of the year season two on Thursday, September 9, 2021, heightened with fifty-seven contestants slugging it out at the quarter-final stage.

Twenty-five contestants scaled through to the semi-final stage which is slated for September 23 2021.

The contestants showcased their talents before a panel of judges headed by the Chairman of the DBS song of the year season two, Mrs Obes Isonguyo.

The contestants after their performances shared their experiences while on the stage and appealed to their fans to vote for them.

In an interview with newsmen, Mrs Isonguyo said that the twenty-five contestants fate to the last ten will depend on their stage performances and vote from their fans.

She called on fans of the DBS song of the year season two to vote for their favourite contestants via www.dbswsongoftheyear.com.ng.

The winner in this year’s edition will go home with the star prize of one million naira and a recording deal.
