The member representing Warri South Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Uroye, has applauded the Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Delta State Government, for establishing the Renewed Hope Mother and Child Specialist Hospital in Ugbuwangue community.

His Imperial Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, inaugurated the health facility during its official handover to the people by the Federal Government.

Speaking on behalf of his constituents, Uroye described the project as “a testament to the government’s commitment to improving maternal and child healthcare.”

He noted that the facility “brings renewed joy and hope to our people. The hospital will go a long way in saving lives, providing quality healthcare services, and strengthening the health sector in our constituency and Delta State at large.”

The lawmaker also reaffirmed the partnership and support of his people with both tiers of government to ensure the hospital’s sustainability and success.
