The rider of the commercial tricycle popularly known as Keke which gunmen in a convoy opened fire at on Tuesday night in Delta State is still alive.
Recall that on Tuesday, July 12, 202, around the Ugbolokposo/Ugbomro axis of Uvwie Local Government Area of the state two passengers in the Keke died on the spot following gunshots fired at them from a convoy.
The spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed NewsNet Nigeria on Thursday night that the Keke rider survived the shooting.
He said the Keke rider is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital and that investigation is ongoing on the matter.
