He served in the 9th National Assembly as a Senior Legislative Aide and was later appointed Member of the Federal Government’s Special Agricultural Scheme.
Otunba Nick Ovuakporie was elected Delta State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Publicity Secretary Conference of APC State Secretaries in Nigeria until his voluntary resignation from the party to join the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, on 24th January 2023 before the general elections to align forces with other leaders of the PDP to usher in the More Agenda Administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori.
Otunba Nick Ovuakporie is a happily married man, a consummate businessman with an interest in contract finance and advertising. He is an astute politician who has consistently won his unit and electoral ward for the PDP since he joined its ranks.
He is currently Executive Assistant Political to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori the Governor of Delta State. As he celebrates God’s grace upon his life today 15th July, 2024, I pray God Almighty to bless him beyond man’s projections.
