The Coordinator of WIS South Security Ltd in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Sylvester David has commended President Bola Tinubu, Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, Mr Bayo Ojulari and the CEO of WIS South Security Ltd, Chief Wisdom Owo for their efforts at securing oil facilities in the Niger Delta region.

Comrade David noted that the efforts of President Tinubu, Mr Ojulari and Chief Owo at securing oil installations and facilities in the Niger Delta have increased the quantum of crude oil production.

According to the Udu Coordinator of WIS South Security Ltd, which is the NNPCL official Frontline security, has been playing a great role towards achieving the vision of Mr President.

Comrade David said that the job scope of the security company covers the whole of the Niger Delta region which includes controlling public access to the facility and concerned premises, responding promptly and appropriately to security-related emergencies, patrolling and keeping surveillance within and around the facilities, premises and to always maintain visible presence to discourage unauthorized entry.

Comrade David further explained that WIS South Security Ltd also swiftly notifies appropriate law enforcement agencies and its security department of any unlawful activity in or around its facilities, implements access control policy and ensures strict compliance with security policy.

He disclosed that the presence of WIS South Security Ltd has been established in Udu locality since 2022 with over 1000 personnel who are working assiduously to protect oil facilities against oil theft, bunkering and pipeline vandalism.

The Coordinator of WIS South Security Ltd in Udu Local Government Area, however, appealed to the people of the area to join President Tinubu and the Company to protect oil installations and facilities in the council area.

Comrade David noted that oil theft, bunkering and pipeline vandalism would not only have negative effects on the nation’s economy but also destroy farmlands, water bodies and aquatic lives of affected communities, thereby increasing hardship in the land.

He also warned that anyone who stands against the operations of WIS South Security Ltd would be considered and treated as the brain behind cases of reported pipeline vandalism in Udu Local Government Area in the past.
