The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has extended warm congratulations to Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
In a statement signed by Mr. Igoniko Oduma, Special Assistant on Media to the PAP Administrator, on April 12, 2026, Otuaro described Tompolo as a leading figure in the Niger Delta struggle, a patriot, and a respected son of both the Ijaw nation and Nigeria, noting that his contributions to peace, security, and regional development have been both remarkable and far-reaching.
He said Tompolo has evolved into not just a stabilising force in the region but also a compassionate leader and philanthropist whose interventions have touched countless lives and communities.
Highlighting his economic and social impact, Otuaro pointed to the operations of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, which he said has created employment for over 45,000 Niger Delta youths, while also supporting many others through scholarship opportunities.
He further commended the company’s role in protecting critical oil infrastructure, noting that improved security has contributed to Nigeria’s rising crude oil production, recently hitting about 1.8 million barrels per day.
According to him, the collaboration between the Federal Government and Tantita Security Services demonstrates the effectiveness of community-driven security models in safeguarding national assets.
Otuaro also praised Tompolo’s support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a reflection of his commitment to the continued progress and transformation of the Niger Delta.
Otuaro celebrates Tompolo at 55, highlighting his role in Niger Delta peace, youth empowerment, and Nigeria’s rising oil production through Tantita Security.
He offered prayers for Tompolo’s continued good health, strength, and long life, describing him as a vital asset to both the region and the nation.
