An accident involving three vehicles occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the Umutu in Ukwani Local Government Area of Delta State.
NewsNet Nigeria gathered that the accident took place on the expressway by the entrance of the Hospital junction in Umutu, when an ash colour Toyota Highlander jeep collided with a Toyota Camry car and a black Volkswagen taxi.
Though no life was lost, the drivers especially of the black Volkswagen taxi and the Toyota Camry sustained injuries.
Eyewitnesses blamed the driver of the ash colour Highlander jeep for trying to navigate into the Hospital junction street at high speed.
The airbags of the Highlander jeep shoot out while the front was seriously damaged.
The Volkswagen taxi was being towed at the time of this report.
Over time road users have been cautioned against reckless driving.
