Victor Osimhen was named in Napoli’s squad for the Serie A clash against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Antonio Bentegodi.
Napoli, however, lost 3-1 away to Hellas Verona.
Osimhen came in as a substitute at the 65minutes into the match to replace Andrea Petagna.
Osimhen last featured for the Partenopei in the 1-0 win against Bologna in December 2020.
He scored the winning goal in the encounter.
The 22-year-old dislocated his shoulder on international duty with Nigeria in November 2020.
The former Lille striker later tested positive for coronavirus after returning from Christmas holiday in Nigeria.
Napoli announced the player has tested negative for the virus on Friday and will start individual training the following day.
