Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, says Super Eagles will open camp for 2022 World Cup qualifier against Lone Stars of Liberia on November 8.
NFF’s Media Director, Ademola Olajire, told newsmen that arrangements are on for successful execution of the World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde respectively.
Still, on the World Cup Qualifiers, Super Eagles Media Officer, Babafemi Raji, said the team will do everything possible to get a positive result against Liberia and also win their final game against Cape Verde, slated for November 14 in Lagos to ensure Nigeria ends the group stage strongly.
Meanwhile, former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu, has urged the team to avoid complacency in their last two group games of the qualifiers, saying a strong finish could instil fear in the psyche of the country’s next opponents.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria can book its World Cup ticket because of the quality of players in the team.
Nigeria will take on Liberia on November 11, then play host to Cape Verde on November 14.
