English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspurs, have sacked manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, after just four months in charge.
Following their 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United on Saturday, Spurs board held a crisis meeting on Monday morning to evaluate their situation going forward.
Saturday’s defeat leaves them eighth in the Premier League after ten games with five losses.
The former Wolves manager arrived at Spurs’ training ground Monday morning, where he was told of his fate.
His coaching staff have also been sacked after the shocking run of results.
Spurs Director of football, Fabio Paratici confirmed the news with a 92-word statement on their website.
The north London side also confirmed Nuno’s replacement will be announced in the near future.
According to multiple sources, former Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan boss, Antonio Conte, is top of their list, although the Italian has reservations over taking the job.
