Leicester City star, Ademola Lookman has gotten FIFA’s approval to switch nationality from England to Nigeria.UK Sun who quoted The Associated Press reported that FIFA has granted Lookman’s switch.

The exciting attacker, 24, has played for England both at the U19 and U21 level and helped England’s U20s win the U20 World Cup in 2017.

Lookman who missed the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations due to a delay in the permit will be available to play for the Super Eagles as they face Ghana next month for a ticket to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

In October, Lookman applied to switch his allegiance to the country of his parents’ nationality and former coach Gernot Rohr included his name in the initial provisional list for the African Cup of Nations.
