AFCON 2023: Delta Speaker unveils DBS Warri Viewing Centre, says Oborevwori’s govt will revamp station

Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor has assured the station management, staff, and public that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led government will pay attention to the station as well as deliver on his More Agenda to all Deltans.

Speaking at the Edjeba premises of DBS Warri while unveiling the station’s AFCON 2023 Viewing Centre, the speaker noted that the Governor is a sports lover who hit the ground running with his commitment to rebuilding the Warri Township stadium among other infrastructural development in the area.

DBS Warri Board Chairman, Olorogun Moses Odibo, who initiated the idea of the viewing centre described the DBS Warri 2023 AFCON viewing centre as a place where fans of the Super Eagles can come to view the AFCON matches.

For his part, the General Manager of DBS Warri, Pastor Malcolm Oteri said that the station is keying into the Governor’s More Agenda by giving supporters of the Super Eagles a place to view the AFCON matches.

The Sports Unit of DBS Warri told NewsNetNigeria that the DBS Warri Viewing Centre will only be opened for Nigeria matches.
