The South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023, a group comprising of intellectual and industrious men and women from the rich oil region of Nigeria has once again penned an open letter to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, expressing their support for his choice of Senator Kashim Shettima, as his running mate in the 2023 general elections.
The letter titled “LIKE THE EAGLE, TINUBU SYNERGIZES WITH THE SKY; SOUTH/NORTH TICKET”, was signed by the group’s National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Awareness Erhihie, National Secretary, Comrade Paul Ovie Oviogbodu, Assistant Head Media & Publicity, Comrade Tuviere John.
The South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023 reiterated its desire to ensure the former Lagos State Governor emerges as the next President of Nigeria in 2023.

LIKE THE EAGLE, TINUBU SYNERGIZES WITH THE SKY; SOUTH/NORTH TICKET
We, the South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023(SSYT) are here to show our open support to all Nigerians that he has chosen competence over religious extremism.
Tinubu is a man who has won political wars not just political battles. The much reason why he was bestowed with the title of Jagaban of Borgu. Indeed, he has proven to be a political leader of our generation, the political light bearer, who has all it takes to light up Nigeria to the Status of her counterparts in the western climes, the man who has the “change” Nigerians have so long clamoured for since the birth of our country by virtue.
Tinubu/Shettima is a combination that scores the political golden goal. These economists and political class (Tinubu/Shettima) have earned themselves encomiums and accolades in their respective professions and political careers.
Nigerians must agree with our indefatigable standard bearer of APC when he picked Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2023 Presidential election,s not on religious considerations but on ideals of a booming economy and a dynamically updated security setup.
Tinubu is a true democrat who understands the political dynamics and what must be done for Nigeria to sail through the murky waters to the much anticipated fortunate shores.
Those who berate the idea of a Muslim/Muslim ticket must understand that only competency and credibility are needed now to transform our great Nation into a more secure and enabling society; create and sustain an environment where strong and equitable development is certain with the true reflection of federal character and federalism.
Like the “eagle” Tinubu is soaring high with the synergy of the sky as he picks Senator Kashim Shettima to run with him as his running mate in the forthcoming 2023 Presidential election.
On behalf of the South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023 group, we want to use this medium to pledge our unreserved, unwavering and tireless support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban) as we source and scout for more votes within and across the boundaries of South South to make the dream a reality come 2023. We have our foot soldiers in the 133 Local Government areas that make up the six South-South geo-political zone as we work towards achieving a (1) one million solidarity march with the theme: Operation flash your PVC for Jagaban.
Also, we want to use this medium to inform our Super Principal Bola Ahmed Tinubu that preparation is in top gear for the South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023 in Diaspora led by Comrade, Ojarikre Owho Michael the coordinator, to give him a receptive welcome in the United Kingdom and the United States.
