Senator Ned Munir Nwoko on Saturday joined Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other federal lawmakers at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, for the Passing Out Parade (POP) of cadets of the 72 Regular Course.
The event, held at the Academy Parade Ground, Afaka, formed part of activities marking the NDA’s 35th Convocation Ceremony.
Earlier in the week, on Thursday, September 25, the Academy had conferred academic degrees on 2,618 graduands, comprising 72 Regular Course cadet officers and 2,546 postgraduate students, during the convocation ceremony.
Saturday’s Passing Out Parade officially commissioned the cadets into the Nigerian Armed Forces, marking the culmination of years of rigorous academic pursuit and military training.
