Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has extended warm felicitations to former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, on the occasion of his 67th birthday anniversary.

In his congratulatory message, Senator Dafinone described Chief Ibori as “a remarkable leader and statesman,” whose “life has been a testament to resilience, courage, and an enduring commitment to the advancement of Delta State and the upliftment of the Urhobo Nation.”

The Senator joined family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the former governor, famously associated with championing the 13% oil derivation formula for oil and gas-producing states in Nigeria. He wished Chief Ibori many more fruitful years ahead.
