The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that its men were behind Thursday’s raid at the Soka residence of Sunday Igboho in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
NewsNet gathered that Igboho’s residence came under heavy attack in the early hours of Thursday by gunmen suspected to be Soldiers.
Addressing journalists on the operation at Igboho’s house, the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya said Yoruba activist should report himself to the nearest police station.
Afunanya said no one is above the law of the land, adding that those apprehended at his residence would be charged to court.
International passports, charms, guns and dollars were among items recovered from his house.
