The Delta State Police Command has arrested Pastor Daniel Ololo of Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry, Sapele, over allegations of defilement, rape, and sexual exploitation.
According to the Command, a petition received on 13 October 2025 accused the pastor of using fabricated prophecies to deceive and sexually manipulate vulnerable church members.
Acting on the Commissioner of Police’s directive, operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department opened an investigation.
Pastor Ololo was arrested on 17 November 2025 at the church premises.
Investigators found that he allegedly coerced victims into believing they needed sexual intercourse with him for “deliverance.”
He is further accused of having carnal knowledge of three sisters from the same mother, one of whom is 17 years old.
The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
