Blackmailers can not strive because I have nothing to give them, my hands are clean — Ojougboh
The former Executive Director Projects of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has debunked a report Published by one Nimi Princewill in an online medium known as Peoples Gazette, saying that blackmailers can not Strive because there is nothing to give them and his hands are clean.
Nimi Princewill in Peoples Gazette had alleged in the report that amidst allegations of endemic corruption at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), a director of projects at the federal agency, Cairo Ojougboh, has commissioned his multimillion naira deluxe apartment in the Federal Capital Territory
But, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Sir Gabriel Choba, Dr. Ojougboh described the allegation as a cheap blackmail against him and the IMC which can not stand.
The statement reads in parts below:
This cheap blackmail by Nimi Princewill and others is because of the sterlings of Dr. Cairo Ojougboh and his insistence on due process; and for this amassed enemies including dubious and fictitious contractors who wanted to be paid for unverifiable projects. But to God’s glory the forensic audit shall settle theses issues.
It will interest the general public to know that Ojougboh did his job as prescribed and this has put the Commission on a strong footing. And because of this, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh is been threatened with calls from every corner. However, the alleged master mind is one Nimi Princewill who had approached the office of the Executive Director of Projects for payment of Jobs that were not done, claiming to be representing Online Journalists and Stakeholders in Niger Delta. But the jobs were not verified and therefore his payment was turned down; and now he has resulted to cheap blackmail.
Moreover, it should be noted that Nimi Princewill, Fejiro Oliver of Secret Reporters and many other people like him who are used to blackmail should not strive because they will get nothing from me. Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has not stolen and our hands are clean.
We therefore urge the general public to discountence the scam Artist and blackmailer. Ojougboh does not give bribe, he does not pay bribe.
