Celebrated Prince of Anioma nation in Delta State, Hon Ned Nwoko, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, clocked 61 years.

Nwoko is renowned for his selfless services to humanity with many being alleviated from poverty and rejection.

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko, in his goodwill message to the international lawyer of repute said, “Those of us from the same royal blood can testify that you have been a dependable father, a big brother, a selfless giver, a community builder and one full of a heart of gold.

“Words may never be adequate to describe the person you are and have continued to be to those of us who are not just related to you by blood lineage, but by being consistent mentees. I am particularly proud of a brother you have always been.

Prince Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian lawyer, politician and philanthropist, represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003.

As a strong advocate of Malaria eradication in Africa in January 2020, he undertook a symbolic expedition to Antarctica to flag off a Malaria Eradication Project.

That made him the first black African to visit the South Pole Antarctica.

He is the initiator of the Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Foundation.

The Foundation is supporting the existing efforts of vaccine development by funding research for the anti-malaria vaccine through a partnership with leading universities in Africa.

Through his foundation, Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation, he has contributed to the empowerment and education of youths of his constituency, senatorial district and state.
