Governor Nyesom Wike says he has no intention of dumping the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the opposition party.

Recall that on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s unveiling of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as running to PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, a video surfaced in which Wike was heard saying he would leave the PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

However, Wike on his Facebook page ‘Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON’ while reacting to the viral video said, “This interview from 2021 was manipulated to give the false impression that I am leaving the Peoples Democratic Party.

“I remain a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party.”
