Senior Special Assistant to the Goveenor of Delta State on Security, Engr. Emmanuel Udoka Chikadibie has called on eligible voters in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state to leverage on the online application opportunity provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to revalidate, transfer or register to enable them vote in the 2023 general elections.
In a statement in Warri, the governor’s aide said it has become pertinent for him to add his voice to the call that all Nigerians of voting age should hurry to register in order to vote out the bad leaders that had taken the nation back in terms of economic and political retrogression.
According to him, “You begin a dance from home before going outside. Aniocha North is my local government area and as such I must start my campaign for the voter revalidation, transfer and registration from there.
“I am an optimist who believes that leadership that is desirable is possible in Nigeria. If you look at the way Nigerians have continued to react in the face of tyranny and blatant dictatorship at the national level of governance, you will agree with me that the people are eager to change this inept and clueless APC leadership.
“However, we can achieve this only by registering to obtain our PVC. The Independent National Electoral Commission has provided a process which is simple and in tandem with the reality of the time – that is electronic registration.
“And so, I am using this medium to urge our people to not allow this opportunity slip by without registering. On our part, we must continue to do our best to ensure that the process is not made cumbersome for our people. We will support as much as we can to aid our people to register. It’s a task we must not take for granted. Nigeria must emerge again as the giant in the leadership of Africa that she has always been in time past,” said Udoka Chikadibie.
