A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Afiesere community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Julius Akpovoka, has denied saying Olorogun David Edevbie has endorsed the governorship ambition of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
The Delta PDP ward to ward campaign team had on Monday stormed Afiesere ward where Edevbie comes from after which it went viral on social media that Edevbie who came second in the party’s gubernatorial primary has endorsed the candidacy of Oborevwori.
Speaking to NewsNet Nigeria Tuesday, Chief Akpovoka who is alleged to have broke the cheering endorsement news during the campaign to the ward denied saying so.
He said, “From the video of me speaking during the campaign did you hear me say Edevbie has endorsed Oborevwori? So, report what I said.”
