S’Court Verdict: Lawrence Emareyo felicitates Oborevwori, says victory is an early birthday present

The Chief Executive Officer of Ricky Hotel and Event Centre, Ughelli, Delta State, Chief (Dr) Lawrence Okowhake Emareyo (JP) has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Apex Court as the validly elected Governor of Delta State in the March 18 Governorship Election.

While celebrating the landslide victory which affirmed the end to the legal battle, Chief Emareyo called on the parties involved in the Governorship tussle to sheath their swords and support the administration of  Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to deliver the MORE agenda to Deltans.

The business mogul said Deltans should be rest assured of rapid social and infrastructural developmental projects in all parts of the State as Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has already laid down the marker following the signing of the 78 billion naira flyover bridge construction in Warri and Effurun with construction giants, Julius Berger.

The philanthropist and native of Oteri in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State said the Supreme Court verdict was like an early birthday present.

Recall that Chief Dr. Lawrence Okowhake Emareyo will be a year older on February 4, and as part of activities to mark the special day, a novelty match between Oteri and Otor-Iwhreko community has been lined up with the winner walking home with one million naira.

The match is scheduled to kick-off on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Ughelli General Field.
