Ongoing investigations to shame David Edevbie Campaign Organisation for sponsoring blackmail and character assassination against the leading governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, revealed that former governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori is on the list of old boys of Oghareki Grammar School, Oghareki.

Head of CMPG investigation team in Ethiope West Local Government Area, Comrade Monday Odaka, said the list of OGS Old Boys obtained from the School further revealed that the immediate Past Managing Director of DESOPADEC and former National Treasurer of PDP, Chief Makinde William; a top PDP Chieftain in Ethiope West, Chief Emmanuel Ighomena, Chief Oghenedoro Ugbene, Mr Azana Omo Agege and Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori were among those listed as old boys of the school.

Further investigation also revealed that Oborevwori obtained his School Certificate in 1999, from Oghareki Grammar School which was renamed Baptist Missionary School in 2011.

These facts obtained from the school authority has completely exposed the evil campaign of hate, blackmail and planned character assassination against the 2023 leading Guber aspirant, Oborevwori, by the unpopular aspirant, Olorogun David Edevbie and his media team.

Edevbie media team had claimed that Oghareki Grammar School was founded 2014, whereas Oborevwori’s School Certificate was issued in 1999 and therefore concluded that the certificate was forged because it does not tally with the date the school was established.

The new Oghareki Grammar School was founded 2014 by Delta State Government, which is completely different from the old Oghareki Grammar School founded in 1970 by Baptist Church. Oborevwori, Ibori, Makinde, Ighonena and other prominent Deltans attended the old Oghareki Grammar School, not the new one.

The negative media propaganda and malicious publications were criminally targeted at Oborevwori, flowing from petty jealousy, frustration and inferiority complex on the part of Olorogun David Edevbie, knowing fully well that he had been rejected by majority of PDP leaders and delegates in the three senatorial districts, ahead of primaries, as can be seen from the numerous endorsements of Oborevwori.

Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom is a Pan Delta Project that cannot be harassed and intimidated from the governorship race by any unpopular Guber aspirant.

Oborevwori is a man of integrity, very competent and ready to build on the enviable achievements of His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, come 2023 and beyond.
