Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Youths Development, Patrick Oghenerhoro, has moved to All Progressives Congress, APC.
Oghenerhoro, popularly known as ‘Paleke’ in the political palace of Delta State, resigned his appointment to the Delta State Government and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Oghenerhoro was on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, warmly received into the APC family in Delta State, hours after he dumped the PDP by the APC governorship candidate in the state, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege at his Effurun residence in Uvwie Local Government Area.
In his resignation letter to Governor Okowa through the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah, dated Tuesday, October 25, 2022, Oghenerhoro said, “I wish to inform you of my resignation as Senior Special Assistant on Youths Development to the Governor with immediate effect. It’s been a pleasure to serve while it lasted”.
In his resignation letter to the PDP via the chairman, Ethiope East chapter, also dated Tuesday, October 25, 2022, and rooted through the chairman, Ethiope East PDP Ward 5, Oghenerhoro, wrote below:
” In reference to the above subject matter, I would like to inform you of my decision to resign my membership of the party which I have been very active over the decades with immediate effect. The reasons aren’t far-fetched; the party has failed to take Deltans to the promise land.
“While I take my leave off the party, I thank the leadership of the party whom I had cordial relationship with and every other person whilst I was still a member.”
Patrick Oghenerhoro, was a one-time President for the Urhobo Youth Council, UYC, worldwide, and PDP chairmanship aspirant to Ethiope East Local Government Council.
