Henry Olisa Ogbogu, a lawyer has urged the people of Anambra state to join hands with Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo to make the state peaceful, safe, and investment-friendly to attract potential investors.

Ogbogu, an activist and Anambra politician, said the enabling environment must be created to enable Governor Soludo to achieve his plans for the desired human and infrastructural development in Anambra State.

In a statement, on Thursday, Ogbogu also commended the Governor of Anambra State for his prompt appointments of 20 Commissioners, which he described as good omen for the state.

“With the appointments of 20 Commissioners in just two weeks after he was sworn in, Governor Soludo has clearly shown or demonstrated that he is ready for business and governance in Anambra state. What Governor Soludo has done is unusual in Nigeria,” said Ogbogu.

Ogbogu, noted that for Governor Soludo to have jettisoned the usual wait for over seven months to appoint cabinet members, was an indication that the state and Anambra people should expect the best from Soludo’s government.

According to him, “I have no doubt in my mind that, those have been appointed as Commissioners are competent and capable personalities that would contribute positively to the success of Soludo’s administration. They would surely deliver”.

Ogbogu, a Principal Partner, at H. O. Somadina & Co, further noted, “as it takes two fingers to remove a lice from the hair, so, I want to appeal to the appointed Commissioners and cabinet members to cooperate and collectively ensure the actualization of the policies and programmes of the Governor Soludo to better Anambra State”.
