One of the 2023 governorship aspirants in Delta State on the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ejaife Odebala has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Odebala surprisingly was among the top aides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa present on Monday during the governor’s inauguration of the newly built Press Centre in the new Delta State Government House, Asaba.
Confirming his defection from the PDP to APC, the Sapele-born politician told NewsNet Nigeria that he is now fully with the Delta State APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
“I don port to APC. I dey with Omo-Agege now,” said Odebala.
Odebala was a one-time member of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Sapele Constituency, a former member of the Delta State Executive Council, and until his defection a Special Adviser to Governor Okowa.
