The Chairman of the Ika South Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) in Delta State, Comrade Brown Onyator Jerry, has described the appointment of Mrs. Rose Ezewu and Engr. Jerry Ehiwario as commissioners for Basic and Secondary and Power and Energy respectively by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as a welcome development and worthy of commendation.
Comrade Brown Onyator stated this in a statement on behalf of Ika South Chapter of ASUSS while reacting to their appointment and assignment of portfolios to the duo, describing their appointment as well deserved.
He stated that Mrs. Ezewu and Engr. Ehiwario would bring their wealth of experience to bear in their task of advancing the MORE agenda of Oborevwori’s led administration.
While congratulating them on their appointment, Comrade Brown noted that ASUSS was overwhelmed with the reappointment of Mrs. Ezewu as Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education.
Comrade Onyator explained that it was always a thing of joy that one of their own, Mrs. Ezewu and Engr. Ehiwario were considered worthy to serve in the present administration.
He specifically noted that Mrs. Ezewu was a worthy ambassador of the union and pledged their unflinching support to her.
Comrade Brown Onyator said that Mrs. Ezewu is an unassuming educationist and administrator, adding that her choice as Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education was in recognition of her continuous efforts in the growth and development of the education system in the State.
