Delta State-born development and environmental justice advocate Comrade Sheriff Mulade has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his successful swearing-in as governor of Delta State.
Mulade while describing the swearing-in of Oborevwori as Governor of the oil-rich state as well-deserved called on all Deltans to support the new administration for a better Delta.
He implored other residents of the state to work with the Governor to achieve his M.O.R.E Agenda for the good of the people.
He described the new governor, who was elected on May 18, 2023, as a man with excessive local content and street credibility and a grassroots politician with community-based knowledge for development.
Mulade, who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of the state, and a former PDP governorship aspirant, urged all citizens to give maximum support and cooperate with Governor Oborevwori for a better and safer Delta State.
More importantly. he charged the governor to run an all-inclusive government in order to sustain peace and attract development to the state, irrespective of ethnic, political, or religious affiliations.
In Mulade’s words; “It is imperative to state that the elections have come and gone; now is the time to build bridges of reconciliation with all aggrieved persons in the state and to focus on good governance for the prosperous Delta State of our dreams”.
