Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Thursday swore in 29-year-old Miss Wasilat Adegoke, the youngest member of his cabinet.
Miss Adegoke was assigned to man the Ministry of Youths and Sports.
He also administered the oath of office on Oluwaserimi Ajetumobi as the commissioner for health in the state.
The Nation reports that the governor had earlier sworn in 16 commissioners bringing the total number to 18 as parts of the State Executive Council members.
Speaking shortly after the swearing-in, Makinde said he would always forgive the new commissioner for youths and sports, among others for any mistakes made while doing their job as commissioners but would not forgive them if they failed to perform.
While advising Wasilat, Makinde urged her to always perform her duty as commissioner diligently and not fear making mistakes, adding that, if at a point she made mistakes, the governor said, he would forgive her.
