The Ijaw leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, High Chief Michael Johnny has congratulated President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-Elect, Alhaji Kasim Shettima and Delta South Senator-Elect, Hon. Joel Onowakpo Thomas.

Johnny in a statement by his media office on Sunday in Warri thanked Nigerians for electing Tinubu and Shettima as President and Vice President respectively on 25th February at the Presidential election.

He also commended the people of Delta South Senatorial District for electing Hon. Joel Onowakpo Thomas as Senator to represent the people of Delta South senatorial district in the 10th National Assembly.

Johnny, former Chairman of Egbema and Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF), appreciated Gbaramatu indigenes who voted for Tinubu and All Progressives Congress APC in the last Presidential election.

He further urged Gbaramatu indigenes to come out en-masse on Saturday, March 11, 2023, and vote for APC and Ovie Omo-Agege to become the next Governor of Delta State.

The statement concluded that Gbaramatu kingdom should make a voice by delivering APC and Omo-Agege at the coming Governorship election.
