The Deputy Chief Whip and member representing Uvwie Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, has hailed the emergence of Rt Hon Sherrif Oborevwori as the Deputy National Chairman, Conference of Speakers of the State Houses of Assembly of Nigeria.

Hon Ighrakpata on behalf of his family and the good people of Uvwie, congratulated Rt Hon Oborevwori, who is the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and the entire Delta State Legislature for the feet recorded.

The lawmaker particularly commended the Speaker for being a worthy ambassador of Delta State, saying: “I am indeed happy that Mr Speaker did very well as National Treasurer of the Speakers conference.

“If he was found wanting as the Treasurer of the body, he wouldn’t have been nominated for the new office.”

While appreciating members for the confidence reposed on Rt Hon Oborevwori, Ighrakpata prayed God to grant the Speaker the energy, wisdom and wherewithal to meet up with the challenges of the office.
