Mrs Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, daughter of former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, on Tuesday defeated the incumbent member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Ben Igbakpa, in the rerun primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Erhiatake scored 46 votes and Igbakpa polled 22 votes in the rerun primary held at the Oghara Township Stadium, Oghara, headquarters of Ethiope West Local Government Area.
For that of Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency which took place at the Sapele Township Stadium, Sapele, Hon Evelyn Oboro, who is a two-time member of the House of Representatives got another opportunity to return to the Green Chamber.
Oboro scored 45 votes to defeat the incumbent member representing the federal constituency, Hon Efe Afe, who garnered 18 votes while Hon Napoleon Gbinije, scored 36 votes.
