As part of the appeal of President Bola Tinubu in his Democracy Day broadcast that Nigerians should never take the nation’s democracy for granted, the former EDP called on Nigerians to prioritize support for good governance irrespective of ethnic, religious, or party affiliations, noting that it would foster the healing process of the country.
According to him: “Nigerians must elevate their contributions and determinations to the process of governance beyond considerations of ethnic, religious, and party sentiments. This is because nation-building thrives on the unity and togetherness of the people.
Adjogbe highlighted the common kindred spirit of renewed hope, faith, love and tenacity which bind all Nigerians as a people, adding that: “Just as it has been said before, we are first Nigerians before we are anything else”.
