Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Onwo has expressed optimism that Delta State will witness more stability in polity under the new administration in the state led by Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
Hon Onwo who represents Isoko South 2 constituency in the House and also the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Information, stated this while reacting to the assumption of office of Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State.
The re-elected member of the Delta State Legislature explained that besides the Pan-Delta disposition of the new head of government in the state, the seamless transition progress from Okowa to Oborevwori was unprecedented and capable of promoting peace and stability in governance in the state.
Onwo advised against unnecessary distractions as the new administration in the state was set to deliver its electioneering campaign promises to Deltans.
While felicitating with Oborevwori on the successful assumption of office as Governor of Delta State, the lawmaker emphasized that the M.O.R.E. agenda of the new government will be vigorously implemented to sustain development in the state.

“He was the Speaker of Delta State Assembly. As the Majority Leader of the House, I worked very closely with him. He brought stability and positive vibes to the State Legislature. I have no doubt of his capacity to build upon legacies of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa‘s administration and further advance the state to the dream of Deltans”, Onwo stated.
The lawmaker congratulated Deltans on the new government and urged the people to sustain their support for the PDP-led government.
