Delta political strategist, Amori, receives Certificate of Return as PDP Deputy National Organising Secretary

The Political Adviser to three former National Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ighoyota Amori has received his Certificate of Return as the party’s Deputy National Organising Secretary.

Amori was among the 21-man PDP National Executive Committee led by Senator Iyorchia Ayu, elected a month ago by hundreds of party delegates who participated in the election of the new national officers at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

The presentation of the Certificate of Return and inauguration of the newly elected national officers of the PDP was held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Abuja International Conference Center (AICC), Central Area, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The colourful ceremony was graced by former Presidents and Vice Presidents of Nigeria, serving Governors and former Governors, serving and former members of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, members of the National Assembly amongst other stakeholders.

Recall that a valedictory session for the outgone National Executive Committee was held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

Senator Amori is currently the National Chairman of the Delta Central 2023 (DC-23), a foremost political lobby group in Delta State championing the rotation of power amongst the three senatorial districts of the state.

Delta Central Senatorial District is expected to begin another round of power rotation on a senatorial basis for the governorship position of the state come 2023.
