The entire political class and other critical stakeholders in Warri South Local Government Area on Tuesday rose in solidarity with the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Warri South Local Government Council, Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro as he rolled out his manifesto to key start campaign for the July 13, 2024, local government elections in Delta State.

Comrade Agbateyiniro whose manifesto was unveiled by the Delta State Chairman of the PDP, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso at Brownhill Coliseum, Ogunu, Warri, assured that if voted into his administration will use employment and human capital development to negotiate security challenges bedevilling Warri South Local Government Area.

The unveiling of the manifesto of Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro which was unprecedented in the political history of Warri South Local Government Area attracted political gladiators in the area including one-time Minister of State for Defence, Chief Roland Oritsejafor, former Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Otumara, Chief Israel Abido and the Deputy Chairman of Delta State PDP, Mr Ada-Val Arenyeka, who represented the state chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso at the epoch-making ceremony.

In a thought-provoking and mind-blowing presentation of his manifesto christened THE M.O.R.E G.R.A.C.E AGENDA, which held the audience spellbound, Comrade Agbateyiniro said it is based on the agenda all the relevant key performance indicators of his administration will be rated and evaluated.

The Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship candidate said his administration will vigorously pursue human capital and infrastructural development, job creation and economic empowerment, radical rural transformation, Agricultural Revolution, Commerce and Industrialization, and Enhance Peace and Security if voted into power.

He expressed optimism that when the enabling environment is put in place Warri will bounce back to reckoning adding that his administration will mobilise relevant professionals to actualize the needed results to change the narrative.

“The indices of growth of my administration will be there for all to see. We will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to grow our economy and do all the things we need to enhance growth and development under my watch.

“My administration will carry radical rural transformation because Warri is not only made up of urban areas. We will be interested in the things that are happening in our rural areas. The Banana Island and Eko Atlantic City we have in Lagos were not built and erected by angels.

“I am very confident when we create the enabling environment with the quality of men and women in Warri South those things you see happening practically in other areas we will bring them here to change the narrative,” said the PDP Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship candidate.

Comrade Agbateyiniro particularly appealed to all to put behind the things that create division, breed animosity, and focus on those things that will attract employment and put food on the table for the people.

He emphasized that when he comes on board as chairman of Warri South Local Government Council alongside his Vice, Mr Kingsley Edafiadjebre and with the needed cooperation ideas will be used to revolutionize the council area as ideas rule the world.

He therefore called on individuals and groups to feel free to come forward with their to turn things around for the better in Warri South.

“Let me assure you that come July 13 when we are voted into power, we will begin to emphasize the things that will put food on the tables of our people.

“As far as we are concerned in Warri South Local Government Area, we are all brothers and sisters irrespective of creed, size, tribe, social status, race, sex and so on. If we cooperate, if we work together, in the days ahead, by the grace of God, when we are voted into office ideas will be used to revolutionalise all we have in Warri South Local Government Area. Individually and collectively, you have the idea bring them to the table, we will discuss with you.

“We will use employment and human capital development to negotiate security challenges bedeviling the area since an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. If we fill those spaces by the special grace of God, the indices of security challenges we currently have in the local government area will be significantly reduced,” Comrade Agbateyiniro emphasized.

Mr Areyenka, Chief Oritsejafor, Dr Otumara, Warri South PDP chairman, Mr Johnson Agbeyegbe and others who spoke at the gathering pledged their total support to ensure the victory of Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro at the July 13 polls and success of his administration.

The event climaxed with the unveiling of “THE M.O.R.E G.R.A.C.E AGENDA” of Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro by the Deputy Chairman of the Delta State PDP, Mr Ada-Val Arenyeka.
