This is not the best of time for the member representing Bomadi Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Oboro Preyor as some of his constituents have passed a vote of no confidence on him and also began the process of his recall from the House.

The aggrieved constituents under the auspices of the Bomadi Like Mind Comrades hinged their decision to pursue the recall of Hon Preyor, on what they described as poor performance from him for the past nine years in the House.

They have therefore asked him to resign and sumit himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for probe or risk being disgraced from office.

Speaking with newsmen in Bomadi, a youth leader and Coordinator of Bomadi Like Mind Comrades, Comrade Gilor Kelly said, “Recalling back Hon. Oboro Preyor, who is the current Deputy Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly is the best decision his constituents have made, and we will do everything legally possible to recall him back.

“It will interest you to know that, the member representing us in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Oboro Preyor is there for his self-interest and family, he does not care whether he is representing people. All he cares about himself and family and we are telling him enough is enough. Hon. Preyor should know he is in public office not his personal business.

“Our protest today is to tell him that he cannot represent us again in the State House of Assembly. He should resign and sumit himself to EFCC to account for all the money he collected for Constituency Projects since 2011 till date before he will be disgraced out of office.

“We are recalling him (Hon. Preyor Kenneth Oboro) back because of poor performances 2011 till date, no Constituency office, no Constituency Project, no good relationship with his Constituencies, no good communication with the people he is representing and among others. No personal hate,” Kelly stressed.

Continuing, Comrade Kelly said, “We are calling on EFCC and ICPC to arrest him and make him to account for all the money he collect for our Constituency Projects 2011 till date to serve deterrent to others.

“We are calling on our House of Assembly Member, Hon. Preyor Oboro to Honourable resign and submit himself to EFCC and ICPC or be disgrace out of office. Over 100 persons from the Constituency have signed his recall petition,” Kelly hinted.
