Delta-born industrialist, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi says he is yet to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in his quest to be governor in 2023.
Recall that Gbagi had in the dying minutes of the governorship primary of the PDP in Delta State held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, the state capital, withdrew from the contest citing amongst others a threat to his life.
The Oginibo-born politician from Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state days after boasted that he will succeed the incumbent Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa in 2023 without disclosing the political party he hopes to do so.
However, today Wednesday media reports surfaced that the former Minister of State, Education, has moved to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to accomplish his ambition to govern the state in 2023.
But, in a phone chat with NewsNet Nigeria, Gbagi said he was still consulting to arrive at his next line of action.
Dependable sources told this medium that give or take, Gbagi will definitely move to another political party in the coming days if his boast to succeed Okowa is anything to go by.
