The factional National Vice President of the Committee for the Defence of Human Right, CDHR, Comrade Prince Kehinde Taiga on Monday said the leadership crisis rocking the body had gone “spiritual” as he discovered an Owl in his office that was completely locked in a two-storey building along Deco road in Warri, Delta State.
In a telephone chat with Our Correspondent, Taiga said the Owl was killed and set ablaze.
“They killed owl in my office. That was exactly what happened. The wonderful thing is that everywhere was locked.
“I don’t want to point accusing fingers at anybody but it seems the leadership tussle in CDHR has gone spiritual.”
He noted that the ongoing leadership crisis is characterized with “suspension” and “expulsions” stressing that both parties(factions) are deeply into it.
Taiga, however, pointed out that his faction of the CDHR is following the constitution while the other does not.
According to him, “They are trying to use power. But we will continue to follow the constitution to the latter until we go to Court because I know the matter will end in Court.”
