Chief James Augoye, a 2023 governorship aspirant in Delta State was on Saturday the delight of all at a rally of the Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) which was held at Agbor, headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of the state.

DPV is the political machinery with which Governor Ifeanyi Okowa came to power in 2015, and has continued to be a great pillar of support for his administration that is two years and some months into the second tenure.

The rally which was held at the popular Government field situated by College Junction, Agbor, was meant to celebrate the new year 2022.

During the rally which had in attendance the National Chairman of the group, Evangelist Michael Diden aka Ejele, his deputy, Bashorun Askia Ogieh and the Director-General, Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe, Chief Augoye attracted the most attention from the large crowd that thronged the venue.

He said, “First, I thank God Almighty for making this DPV get together a huge success, and memorable. I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of the state, who has been able to prove His Leadership qualities, with all sense of humility by stabilizing the existing peace, unity and love for all Deltans here gathered.
