APC expels ex-Delta Deputy Chairman, Elvis Ayomanor

The Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Sapele Ward 7 in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State has ratified the expulsion of the former Deputy Chairman of the party in the state, Mr Elvis Ayomanor, for anti-party activities.

In the expulsion letter unanimously endorsed by the Ward 7 Sapele Chairman and 25 other Ward executive members, Mr Elvis Ayomanor was also found guilty by the Ward Disciplinary Committee of “disobedience in carrying out lawful directives of the party and for conducts aimed at bringing the Party into disrepute and public opprobrium, thereby disrupting the peaceful, lawful and efficient organisation of the party in Ward 7, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State.”

The petition was brought against, Mr Ayomanor by Mr Tedeye Abel T., a member of Sapele Ward 7.

The expulsion letter reads in full below:

RATIFICATION OF THE DECISION OF THE SAPELE WARD 7 DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE EXPELLING MR. ELVIS AYOMANOR FROM THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS FOR ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES AND DISOBEDIENCE IN CARRYING OUT LAWFUL DIRECTIVES OF THE PARTY AND FOR CONDUCTS AIMED AT DISRUPTING THE PEACEFUL LAWFUL AND EFFICIENT ORGANISATION OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS IN WARD 7, SAPELE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DELTA STATE AND NIGERIA

It will be recalled that we the members of the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Sapele Ward 7, on the 6th day of September 2021, received a petition/complaint from Mr Tedeye Abel T., a member of Sapele Ward 7, wherein various allegations were made against Mr Elvis Ayomanor a member of our party in Ward 7, Sapele Local Government Area.

It will also be recalled that pursuant to Article 21, Paragraph B (i) of the All Progressives Congress Constitution (as amended), we members of the Executive Committee of Sapele Ward 7, met in an emergency meeting on the 7th day of September 2021, at the Party Secretariat, wherein a Disciplinary Committee was Constituted to examine the petition/complaint and report back to the Executive Committee of Sapele Ward 7.

It will further be recalled that vide a letter dated 8th day of September 2021, the members of the Executive Committee of Sapele Ward 7, notified members of the Disciplinary Committee of their appointment and for them to examine the petition/complaint dated 6th day of September 2021, against Mr Elvis Ayomanor and communicate their decision to the Executive Committee of Sapele Ward 7.

Upon receipt of the decision of the Disciplinary Committee, which was transmitted to the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress for Sapele Ward 7, vide a letter dated 13th September 2021, an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the AIl Progressives Congress for Sapele Ward 7, was held today, 14th September 2021, at the Party Ward Secretariat and after properly reviewing the report/decision of the
Disciplinary Committee, we the members of the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress for Sapele Ward 7, hereby RATIFY the decision of the Disciplinary Committee EXPELLING Mr Elvis Ayomanor from the All Progressives Congress.

Accordingly, Mr Elvis Ayomanor stands EXPELLED.
