Ejiro Wilson Eghrudje, one of the die-hard supporters of a notable chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Chief Ighoyota Amori has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Eghrudje, who is from Ward One, Unit 19 in Uvwie Local Government Area until a few days ago was among the arrowheads of the AMORI FOR SENATE 2023 campaign organisation which did not come to fruitful.

Based on his grassroots penetration and political sagacity especially as a one-time councillor of the Legislative Arm of Uvwie Local Government, Eghrudje has fully integrated himself into the campaign structures of the Delta State APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

He told NewsNet Nigeria today Thursday that he is now fully committed and dedicated to working for the victory of Senator Omo-Agege as the next governor for him to actualise his plans for the state which are encapsulated in his 60-page manifesto anchored on the EDGE to Build a New Delta (BAND).

He described Omo-Agege as a goal-getter who will revamp Delta State if voted in as the 5th civilian governor since the creation of Delta State.

“I have left the PDP where I have been since 1999 to the APC for good. It is now time to devout the same time, energy and commitment to working for the victory of Senator Ovie Om-Agege in the rescheduled March 18, 2023, governorship and House of Assembly elections.

“Among all the governorship candidates jostling to succeed the incumbent governor of Delta State, Senator Omo-Agege stands out. He has clearly demonstrated and proven to possess the competence, capacity and political dexterity to advance meaningful development in the oil-rich Delta State.

“With the overwhelming support from across the state, Senator Omo-Agege will win the governorship election. The support has been massive and the assurances have also been resounding and reassuring from Deltans who yearning for Senator Omo-Agege to come to the rescue and save the state from its further derailment,” said Eghrudje.
