Former Executive Director of Projects (EDP) at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Dr. Samuel Adjogbe has praised the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for his strategic decision to join the APC, describing it as a bold move.

Delta State on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, witnessed a major political realignment following the formal announcement by Governor Oborevwori of his defection along with other stakeholders in the state from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ruling APC.

In a telephone conversation with newsmen, Adjogbe stated that Oborevwori’s decision to join the APC will bring significant development to Delta State through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

Adjogbe further expressed confidence that as a performing Governor, Oborevwori’s leadership would bring unity to the Delta APC, stating, “Some of us have been vindicated that Oborevwori is the man for the job.”
