Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinShare on Whatsapp

Following the conclusion of the Special National Convention of the All Progressive Congress, APC, which saw the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections, various pressure groups have continued to commend the ruling party for conducting a free, fair, and transparent primary that produced the former Lagos State Governor who they believe has the qualities to lead Nigeria.

Youths from the South-South region of the country, under the aegis of South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023, are the latest group to extend their congratulatory message and support for the APC Presidential flag bearer.

In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Erhirhie, National Secretary, Comrade Paul Ovieogbodu, and Head Media and Publicity, Comrade Pius Irekefe, the South-South Youth for Tinubu 2023, felicitated with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging their unwavering support to ensure he emerges as the President of Nigeria come 2023.

The group’s congratulatory message titled, “AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL TINUBU IS THE LIGHT” reads below:

We the teeming youth of South South, under the aegis of “South South Youth for Tinubu 2023” are adding our voices to other well meaning Nigerians who have extended their congratulatory voices and goodwill messages to the icon of Hope and political light bearer of our generation, the All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate.

The South South Youth for Tinubu 2023 believe that when we as a people”Nigeria” talk about contemporary politics, it will be out of place if a leader like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s personality is not magnified. Thank GOD, the APC Special National Convention(Primary) has come and gone and the party leadership and followership(sic) have deemed it fit that a Charismatic and Pragmatic leader like Tinubu emerged the party standard bearer.

On behalf of the SSYT we say Congratulations to you, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban) on your well deserved victory of the APC Special National Convention. We are so happy that APC believes in equality and unity as they zoned power to the southern part of Nigeria. These reflects togetherness and a catalyst that indicates the oneness we are clamouring for in our country Nigeria. Your emergence is a case of a square peg in a square hole. Judging from your political sagacity during the aborted third Republic of Nigeria when you were a distinguish Senator of Nigeria third assembly, your days in Social Democratic party(SDP) and your reign with Alliance for Democracy (AD) through Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to the present All Progressive Congress. (APC) your antecedents speaks volumes of your Capability to take Nigeria to the “End of the Tunnel” where our Nation will reign with radiance of your policies .

You are the perfect choice of the people to become the President of Nigeria come 2023 and GOD will bless you with more wisdom to pilot Nigeria to the anticipated and enviable heights. South South Youth, know you will make Nigeria proud. Thanks and God bless you richly.

We promise to work tirelessly to make this dream come through as we pledge our unreserved loyalty and dedication to you.

And Our laid down structure plan for your election is sure to pull the vast majority vote from South-South more than ever before.
