Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Tuesday, paid a visit to former Military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida at his hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State.
After closed-door discussions which lasted for about one hour, both parties declined questions from newsmen gathered outside the General’s residence.
However, reports claim that the visit is connected with the Presidential ambition of the former Vice President who is still making wide consultations.
The business mogul also paid a visit to the Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello at Government House, Minna.
In a chat with newsmen, the former Vice President said he was at the Government House to sympathize with the Governor over the incessant insecurity situation confronting the state in the past few months.
When quizzed about his Presidential ambition, Atiku said he would make it known when the time comes.
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, stalwart is yet to make a formal declaration ahead of next year’s election although he had contested twice under the platform, but lost.
