77 children and other members rescued at The Whole Bible Believers Church in Ondo City have been released by the Ondo State Police Command.
The children and teenagers were released to their parents by the police on Monday.
A total of 77 persons including 23 children were rescued last Friday from the church after the parents of the children petitioned the police.
The spokesperson for the Command, Funmilayo Odunlami disclosed this when she featured on TVC News Breakfast
Odunlami however said the two pastors in charge of the church are still in police custody.
She also disclosed that the police have sealed the church to prevent arson by aggrieved members of the public.
According to her, the pastor and his assistant are still being investigated to get to the root of the matter.
