Major C. L. Datong was abducted at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) permanent site on August 24, 2021.
The incident left two of his colleagues dead.
He was rescued through a coordinated effort of the Nigerian Army and other security forces afte spending 25 days with his abductors.
