PDP National Convention: Going back on Oct. 30 – Ologbondiyan

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, has said that October 30, 2021, remains sacrosanct for the conduct of the party’s national convention.

Ologbondiyan, said this while briefing newsmen on the resolutions of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Thursday in Abuja.

The PDP national spokesperson said the party’s NEC approved the composition of its national convention planning committee and the zoning committee to zone the offices of the National Working Committee (NWC).

He said Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri is the Chairman of the 2021 National Convention Organising Committee while his Enugu State counterpart, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, chairs the Zoning Committee.

“The NEC approved Fintiri as Chairman, 2021 National Convention Organizing Committee, Sen. Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa as Deputy Chairman, while Gov. Seyi Makinde, of Oyo state is to serve as Secretary,” Ologbondiyan said.
