The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a final position on the zoning of its presidential seat for the 2023 general elections.
Rising from its 94th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday at Abuja, the party ruled out zoning of the presidential seat.
The party resolved that all candidates that are willing to contest can go ahead and do so as it will be open primaries for all PDP presidential aspirants.
The decision of the party comes ahead of its national convention slated for 30 and 31 October, 2021.
